Cherry-Flavored White Chocolate Hearts

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon butter (real butter, not margarine)
1 packet unsweetened cherry-favored summer drink mix (any brand with pre-measured amount for flavoring two quarts of water)
1 cup white chocolate

(You'll need a silicone heart-shaped candy mold.)

In a bowl, blend the butter and cherry drink mix crystals.

Let stand at least 6 hours for the crystals to dissolve. It may stand for 12 hours, 24 hours, or even a few days, but at least 6 hours.

Before melting the chocolate, blend the butter/flavor crystals mix again to make sure all have dissolved.

Melt the chocolate in the microwave. Do it 20 seconds at a time, with a short stir in between. The stir is to move the hotter areas into the cooler areas so no chocolate overheats.

When the chocolate is melted, measure 1 teaspoon of the butter/flavor crystals mix and stir it into the bowl with the chocolate.

When stirred together, the chocolate will turn pink. Continue until the color is distributed evenly.

Spoon the warm, pink-colored chocolate into the candy mold.

Let stand for 2 or more hours until the chocolate firms up. Then remove it from the candy mold and you have a treat to enjoy or give to someone.
